At Dafos Therapy, we blend experiential and talk therapy to foster personal growth and meaningful insight. Our mission is to create a therapeutic experience that is accessible, supportive, and even enjoyable—empowering clients to embrace change and unlock their full potential.
Philosophy of Care
At Dafos Therapy, we strive to create a therapeutic environment that is healing, educational, and even engaging.
We understand that therapy can feel daunting. While it provides a space of nonjudgmental care, it also requires exploring parts of yourself that may be painful or difficult to express. Our approach seeks to balance this challenge with moments of connection and enjoyment, offering tools and experiences that help make the journey into the places that scare you feel more approachable.
Therapeutic growth doesn’t have to be all serious all the time. While entertainment and adventure alone aren’t inherently therapeutic, we incorporate activities that can make the process more enjoyable. Our expertise spans various therapeutic styles, including:
• Playing games
• Watching videos or movies
• Reading comics
• Experiencing music
• Practicing mindfulness meditation
• Engaging in guided imagery
• And, of course, the traditional “talking cure.”
Together, you and your therapist will co-create a plan tailored to your unique needs while encouraging you to bravely expand your self-awareness.
To make therapy as accessible as possible, we offer both online and in-person sessions.
